It's finally starting to look like summer here in the South of the city and what better way to spend it than in Allerton Road's very own homage to New York dining: East River.
The New York inspired cafe/bar in South Liverpool have been open since November and I've already heard really good things about their brunches. Inspired by Manhattan's Lower East Side, the menu is packed with all sorts of NY classics like bagels, brioche, latkes and salt beef and there's a dedicated breakfast cocktail list to go alongside it.
The evening cocktail list is pretty special too.

East River is a gorgeous little place- cracking drinks and cracking food and I can't wait to get back there for brekkie (and maybe another clover club) real soon.
